From Kenai we proceeded east, then south on the Seward Highway to its end at the little town of Seward on ice-free Resurrection Bay. Historic place, founded in 1902, the start of the original Iditarod trail and Alaska Railroad.

We camped at the huge City Waterfron Park, built on the remnants of the old industrial part of town that was destroyed in the 1964 earthquake. We spent 2 enjoyable weeks in Seward. We'll show you some of the sights we saw.
