Next we went to Cheticamp, a bustling tourist and fishing town. North of the town we went to Cape Breton Highlands National Park to register at the campground, and then along the spectacular coast to the little village of Pleasant Bay. Here it is.

In Pleasant Bay we visited the Whale Interpretive Center, toured the little village, and turned back south towards Cheticamp, an isolated bit of Acadia with French the predominant language.
