After an overnight stop in Brule, Nova Scotia, we arrive in the little town of Canso in time to secure a waterfront spot at the Marina. We loved our view of the Canso Islands which lie in the Strait between mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

Camping spaces (no hookups) were all staked out in anticipation of the arrival the next day of a crowd for the annual Stan Rogers Music Fest. We were glad we got there early. Later on, we were completely hemmed in.
