This page was inspired in 2005 when we attended the annual Stan Rodgers Songfest in Canso, Nova Scotia and then later visited dear friends Gini and Herb in Massachussetts. Herb is a master musician who teaches and plays with several bands, including Sweet Loretta's Snake Oil Jug Band. Herb is a beautiful singer and his instrumental range includes guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and flute. Gini plays piano, accordian, and banjo. A long time ago Bill was Gini's English teacher in high school in Plymouth, MA, where Herb was also a student.

We love the way good music connects us to all of life, and we sporadically work at producing it by singing (Bill), guitar (Bill), recorder (both), and piano (Pat). We love it when we remember to practice, or play our collection of CDs, classical and folk. We're aware that we want more music in our lives and are grateful for the inspiration we got for creating this web page.

Hopefully, more will come - especially now Bill is avidly practicing classical guitar.

"Alas for those who never sing, but die with all their music in them"
Oliver Wendell Holmes
